A day at a time
Coco definitely has been in a home. He is very comfortable jumping on soft cushy furniture to take naps and snuggle up.
His incision is healing nicely and recovering, eating and drinking normal. He's a grazer, that's fine, we just have to make sure the boys don't get in each other's face as if they have to establish some invisible lines until they become friends.
He's getting used to us clicking on the leash, whereas he walked away when we would try to walk toward him. Now he wont walk UP to us, but he'll sit and laydown so we don't have to catch him. PROGRESS!!
He walks really well on a leash, when he gets curious he CAN pull, he's a BIG boy. He is very human oriented because when I take him out he sometimes just wants to jump on me and wants hugs and me to pet him. I remind him he needs to go potty. Although I much oblige, how can you resist face!!
He is still in the marking phase since we have another boy dog in our home. So we have a boy diaper on him when he decides to release his full bladder. Once he gets comfortable going potty, there is no doubt in my mind he's potty trained.
