Welcome Coco

My understanding on Coco before I met him. 50 pound brown aussie mix who is very shy and needs to be picked up everywhere he goes and forfeited because his owner passed away.

And....go.

Fastforward, he was neutered couple days ago and I got to pick him up after surgery. Expected him to be a bit groggy, picked him up into the car ... DEF more than 50 pounds of the SOFTEST fluff!

He was whiny, expected. But he kept nudging my elbow and then wanted to sit up front. Then realized he was WAY too big, then laid in the back seat where he remained and would switch back and forth but ultimately lay down til we got home.

Jumped out of the car fine, entered the home fine.

The interesting part was once inside...he wanted attention, you could tell. He had NO idea what to do with my daughter other than she had way too much energy so he wanted to avoid her. Not sure about the other 12 pound dog either. So he would walk toward where I would go....but not quite close enough...then lay down. I think his incision was bothering him yet, so he would lay down, then get up and move 4 inches then lay down again.

Gave him water, he sucked down. Then food....he wasn't interested at first. But an hour in, he scarfed it down with his first dose of meds.

So far.....calmest, biggest, fluffiest gentleman ever. Going to be a great adventure, I can tell already.
